Mary Beth's Little Gay Wedding

I led the creative production of Mary Beth Barone’s Little Gay Wedding Chapel, a one-night-only live comedy event where four real couples were legally married onstage in front of a sold-out audience. The night raised $54,000 for the Trans Justice Funding Project.

I worked closely with comedian and actress, Mary Beth Barone, to shape the idea and bring it to life. I helped build the structure of the show, managed production and logistics, coordinated talent and timing, and made sure everything ran smoothly on the night.

I was also the main point of contact for the couples, making sure they felt comfortable, informed, and supported throughout the process. Along the way, we partnered with Etsy to create thoughtful, bespoke gifts for the couples and guests, working directly with sellers to bring those details to life.

The result was a night full of laughter, happy tears, and real community. Creating space to celebrate queer love so openly and publicly felt important, and I’m really proud to have helped make it happen.
